A Word from Alan

My energy level is a little better today. There really isn't any major change in my condition. I will have another CT Scan on Monday to tract the progress in fighting the infections. I continue to be fed by IV, although I can now drink a little water.

I have been spending my time working on some training materials for church officers. I have collected a number of resources over the years and am pleased to finally have the time to create a more comprehensive training manual.

I plan to preach this Sunday. It is Reformation Sunday this weekend. We will be looking at the last of the 4 freedoms, The Freedom to Worship. I hope to see you!

    Alan,

    John and I are sorry to have missed you sermon today. We heard about Martin Luther here in WI. The pastor didn't really touch on the freedom to worship except in a broad sense. Please blog and let us know how Sunday went for you. I'm thinking exhilarating and tiring at the same time. We are praying that the docs find very little to remark about on your CT scan tomorrow.
