December Update

It has been a while since we posted. The changes are much slower. I have been able to eat normal food since just before Thanksgiving. I have to be careful about what I eat. High fat is very difficult. My body is just beginning to handle many fruits and vegetables.

The last IV pump went away week. I still have the port in my arm, They want it for one more test on Saturday, December 20th.. (Of course that leaves a chance of infection and the possibility of bleeding.) I woke at 3 am to find the port was bleeding significantly. And of course, we were in a hotel room in Iowa to pick up Kellie from college. And of course, we hadn't taken any of the sterile sterile port changing supplies. We cleaned up what we could, kept it sterile, taped it well, and fixed it when we got home.

I have recently had a CT Scan and the results show continued improvement. I also had a small surgical procedure on Thursday for my back.

I am working almost full time, although some of my work is from home. I wanted to be able to eat by Thanksging and God answered that prayer. I am praying I will be completely healed by hristmas
